Sodium Chloride a.k.a common salt, it is a chemical compound with a formula NaCl. It result from a reaction of a metal, sodium and nonmetal chloride. Naturally it occurs as mineral halite. The major source of Sodium Chloride is rock salt which is mostly which is mostly found in subterranean deposits, seawater or brine. Basically Sodium Chloride can be used in many ways but specifically as table salt in household.

It is tiny cube crystal like tightly bounded in a ionic bond. It can be used as seasoning in food to give taste, for easy removal of stains in clothes. Its can also be used for soaking fish for easy de-scaling or for melting snow on the roads. Also it is used to lower melting point of ice therefore one can add it to ice cubes in a cooler box during parties to slow down the melting point of ice crystals.
